from a GE MASTR II EXEC

Recently I came in to several MASTR EXEC II radios that came out of the old mobile telephone industry.  This version of the EXEC II radio did not have an audio/squelch board (thus no COS output) but did have 13 transmit and receive channels, a Sinclair Labs filter duplexer, and were fully duplexed.

I really did not know what to do with them until I had a few moment to play.   I discovered that the filter/duplexer could be tuned in to the 2 meter band by lengthening the tuning rods which are standard 4/40 threaded rods.  After getting the duplexer tuned I found I could get around 4 watts of power in to the antenna before desense would affect an incoming signal.
